A project like no other, we will begin by discussing how glass flows and how colours can be intensified or lightened by layering. Next we will discuss the principles of kilncariving and explain the function of refractory materials used to accomplish this.   

After choosing a design you will:

• choose and weigh glass

• cut and layout your refractory design

• lay up the glass 

We will then fire the panel. It will be ready for you about 1 week later. We will also provide 3 metal stand-offs for you to hang the artwork at home.
